Shoot The Moon
April 12, 2010I’ve never fired an actual gun before, so was all geared up to go shooting for the first time! First, you select the guns. Decided on the Colt 45 and the Glock 9mm.
The Colt is an especially handsome looking piece of work, in my opinion, because of the detail on it.
Targets were set up about 15-25 metres away.
And all set! I started out with the Glock first, as the instructor said it was the easier of the two to handle, with less recoil. It felt considerably lighter too.
Ready, aim, fire!
It was exhilarating! When I moved on to the Colt, I actually got quite a shock on my first shot – the recoil! whoop! Loved it!
So apparently I wasn’t as bad a shot as I thought I would be. And it was pretty fun pretending I was part of the mafia, haha. Am definitely going back, and looking forward to the next shooting session!
Were you closing your eyes when you are shooting in the last photo? HAHA!
I closed my left eye so I could better focus using just my right eye. Haha…Think would be somewhat precarious to have kept both eyes closed while firing!
I see.. Shall try it someday! HAHA!
Btw, where is the place? How much for one session?
hi jade!
where did you go n try shooting at?
love your specs btw
Where’s this shooting range? is it open to public?
hi! could i know where this place was?
Is this in Singapore? If yes, whereabouts?
Yup, it is in Singapore. At the National Shooting Centre at Old Choa Chu Kang Road.
Sure! See above!
It’s at the National Shooting Centre at 990 Old Choa Chu Kang Road. Open to public, but it’s best to call and make a booking before you go, as it’s mandatory to have an instructor on hand while live bullets are being fired.
Thanks! See above for the address! =)
Yes, you should! See above replies for the address. The price depends on what gun you pick, and the number of bullets you buy to fire.
HI Jade, you do looked Korean wearing the Han Bok !
But the costume do make you looked a little skinny though. Ha,ha.
